October 21, 2000, over 1,100 volunteers, both individuals and from caring
corporations, joined together for the 7th annual Community Impact Day all
around the San Francisco Bay Area! Together, these volunteers completed
38 projects to improve our communities while raising funds to support Community
Impact's year-round programs
The event was a great success and it's not too soon to join in the fun for this year's 8th Annual Community Impact Day. On Saturday, October 6th, 2001, thousands of volunteers will again come together to paint and repair homeless shelters, plant trees, improve schools and so much more. This wonderful day of service provides your company with a great opportunity to participate in a unique event that fosters team-building, builds morale and helps our communities.
